These two wanted an engagement session in the snow and we were lucky enough to get it! Southern California decided to deliver enough snow for a fun, but cold session up in the mountains. We only had about 15 minutes to capture these photos before the fog and snow started to roll in. But I just love how they turned out and I check off a snow session from my bucket list!
I don’t shoot weddings, which means I don’t do many engagements or couples photos. But when the owner of my gym and his fiancee asked me, I couldn’t say no! And oh my gosh, after doing their shoot I kinda want to do engagement photos ALL the time….just not the wedding…haha! We had the most perfect light and even though they thought I was kinda crazy with some of my direction, they turned out sooo dreamy! And how cute are they?!!
This mama definitely had that beautiful pregnancy glow going on. And her hubby knew exactly how to showcase his gorgeous wife. I am so in love with all the photos from their session. Just perfect!
Being pregnant for the first time is such a fun and exciting time in a couple’s life! But I don’t think I am alone when I say I couldn’t appreciate it while I was living it! I was tired, nervous, feeling huge, nesting, etc. and I am so sad that I didn’t have any professional maternity pictures taken. I am very happy that Kaitlin and Mark decided to get their pictures done, and I am honored that they chose me to take them. And look at the results…such a beautiful couple! And, I cannot wait to take pictures of their baby when he/she arrives in February!
Although I do not photograph weddings (too stressful), I do LOVE them! I am one of those girls who watches all those cable wedding shows. You know them -Say Yes to the Dress, Bridezillas, My Fair Wedding, etc. And I will pretty much look at pictures from any wedding. Six years ago I had a lot of fun planning my own wedding. So when Patty and Adolfo came to me to take some AFTER their wedding pictures, I was super excited. They did have a photographer at their wedding, but Patty wasn’t really happy with any of the portrait pictures. She wanted something to display on her walls at home. So she put her dress back on (which by the way I was secretly jealous of- who wouldn’t want to wear their dress twice!), bought another bouquet and boutonniere, and got her man to get all dressed up too. I think we got some great shots of this beautiful couple. The best part was they were up for anything and really fun to work with. Congrats Patty and Adolfo!
